getting to the beach
Fort Lauderdale beach is about 2.5miles from our home. There are a variety of ways to access the beach:
-2 bikes that are at the home
-car/uber (on street parking spots near beach, parking lots near the beach (about $4/hr, parking at Taylor birch state park ($6-8 dollars a vehicle), or catching the shuttle which runs 11:30-9/10pm. This shuttle can be accessed through the Circuit app and is about $3-5 dollars a ride (up to 5 riders). We usually put pick up address as NE 8th St and NE 18TH Ave as this is the closest location to the home. This shuttle can also take you to local places

A fun way to see the city. Many stops available near Victoria Park area (about 20ish dollars for hop on/hop off option)

What is around us?
Publx/walgreens is a 6-8min walk from the home, almost anything you could ever need is within 10 minutes (target, 2 whole foods, aldi, winn dixie, home depot, etc) The list goes on and on! The galleria mall is also very close (20-25min walk) and has tons of shopping and restaurants to choose from.
