Make sure to make a parking reservation well in advance. This is a busy spot during the summer but for good reason. It's breathtaking. You can usually find a quieter spot to swim along the trail to Indian Head Cove.

On a sunny day, the turquoise water is on full display at Halfway Log Dump. It's a popular spot to picnic and swim so make sure to book parking in advance. And don't overpack -- it's a 1km walk from the parking lot to the beach.
