Plenty of day-time boutique shopping and coffee spots. Nothing better than a sunny day in Ponsonby. Great dinner or drinks options for later in the day. Check out Ponsonby Central for lots of restaurant options if you can't manage to decide your cuisine in advance.

Beautiful building with lots of goodies inside. Free entry, but there are always a few special ticket entry exhibits. A great place to stop rain or shine. The art gallery is right beside Albert Park and the University or Auckland, which are both good for a stroll in the sun.

AT journey planner
If you’re planning to use public transport get an Auckland Transport (AT) Hop card. This considerably reduces the fare. Also use the journey planner app. However public transport isn’t “great” in Auckland. So check out Uber, Ola, Beam etc.
