This is a bit of a drive but absolutely worth the time. One of the most beautiful places to hike, with trails that are appropriate for most levels of hiker. They do tend to be crowded during the summer.

Lake Crescent is a beautiful blue clear lake that is worth a visit. Pop in to the historic lodge for a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa. We like to grab a beer and enjoy it by the lake in the Adirondack chairs.

This is a great hike for the whole family. The only part that is a bit difficult is the stairs at the falls. You can choose not to complete that part of the hike and it is still a beautiful hike.
