Sightseeing
The Cooloola Great Walk skirts around Teewah on its way from the Noosa North Shore to Rainbow Beach. Two side trips along the walk are easily accessible from the village (4km return each). One is to the Teewah landing jetty on the eastern shore of Lake Cootharaba. The other is to the summit of Mt Seawah which rises just to the north of Teewah and offers amazing views over the Wallum and ocean.

If a drive along the beach is more to your liking, head north for about 30km to Double Island Point, past the coloured sands and amazing Red Canyon. Plan your trip around the low tide and take a picnic with you. Follow the walking track up to the lighthouse, taking in ocean views along the way, and drop into the info hut at the top to learn more about the history of the area.

Double Island Point
