5 minute drive, but a great hiking trile around the water, approx 3 km. I sometimes go two or three rounds. Love it!

You pass it driving to our house. Google map the trail, it is approximetly 10 k to hike around it. The fly can be a bit of a bother though, get a net.

Close by, 3 minutes by bus from “Ögurhvarf”. 30-40 minute walk but not as nice walk as to Árbæjarlaug.

Gym, 3 minute walk from the house. If you by a week pass it will get you into many of the pools in the city and all of World Class premises which are several.
