Set on a hill in Arundel town centre, the Castle makes an impressive sight. The Medieval castle has been added to and extended over the centuries. The gardens are also gorgeous. If you're lucky enough to be visiting in the spring time you'll witness the bulb festival.
You need to allow a couple of hours for a visit. At the moment pre-booking is essential.

William Blake spent 3 years living in the village from 1800 and Blakes Cottage still stands. Look out for the Blue Plaques and information boards on Blake.
The beach is popular with locals, with a couple of cafes, putting, tennis courts and generally quieter beaches than Bognor or Littlehampton.

There are footpaths pretty much all the way from West Beach in Littlehampton, all the way to Bury, just past Amberley. You can pick the path up in Amberley, Arundel, Ford or Littlehampton, each of which have a railway station, which mean you can get back to where you started! Check train times!

The Windmill Cinema in Littlehampton is run by volunteers. With just one screen it still manages to provide a great cross section of the latest releases. A Multiplex it is not, but with reasonable prices, it's a good way to support a local venture!
