Very well-used park - busy particularly on Saturday mornings with runners, footballers and boot campers! The rose garden is beautiful in June and there is a lovely walled garden too. There are two cafes if you just want to have a cup of tea and people watch.

Awash with vintage, book and record shops as well as some great cafes and pubs. There is a vingate market in Upper Gardner Street on Saturdays.

Lovely Mexican food and great decor. You have to wait a little while but they take your number and call you when your table is ready and there are loads of nice pubs to wait around in.

It's right on the sea front, fairly cheap, you get to sit in opera booths and they have an opera singer!

It has great pictures, is a ten minute walk from our house and sells reasonably priced burgers. It's also hugs so you usually get a seat. Does nice brunches.

It is literally across the road! It is a bit expensive but apparently food is very lovely (not eaten their for a while)
