PERFECT trail for a hot day because it's very shaded throughout! it's also the ideal trail if you want to go trail running on a relatively flat path (the only real incline is at the start which you will walk/run back up at the end)
The scenery since is very green and there is water. There are lots of stream crossings, so be careful not to get wet!

This place is really nice and free, They've got a pretty cool display and mural inside, as well as some terrariums with snakes and lizards. They take out the animals for the kids to handle and ask questions. The docents seem pretty knowledgeable and friendly. The pond has ducks and turtles and some benches so you can sit in the shade and relax. You can hike the trails in the back if you are the outdoor type that seem to enjoy the cliffs. Overall, it is a a nice place for all, especially family on a budget!

Always SO MUCH walking at this venue. Although it is spacious for events, it is a lot of walking from the parking lot. Wear comfortable shoes and keep yourself hydrated, be prepared to sit in the lot for awhile if you're leaving the event late. This place organises raves and concerts, so it doesn't matter which event, it's a whole ton of WALKING and a lot of dust gets kicked up too. Bring your bandana to protect your nose!!
Also, there's nice restrooms available at the ENTRANCE, so take advantage of those otherwise you'll have to use the portable ones which are closer to the stages within the venue!
