Long Beach City Beach is the main beach of Long Beach, CA. This long south-facing beach is located along Ocean Boulevard from the Belmont Pier all the way to Alamitos Beach at the west end. Locals call this beach “Junipero Beach” because the main parking lot in the center is at Junipero Avenue. Bluff Park is a grass park with a pedestrian walking path above the beach that goes from Junipero Ave almost all the way to the Belmont Pier. A wide paved path meanders on the beach in both directions from the parking lot and is popular with bicyclists and skaters.
