Walk and catch a water taxi

Victoria is truly walkable. The Inner Harbour and downtown core are best explored on foot, but there are several other types of transportation. From horse drawn carriage to double-decker bus, to water taxis-- the choice is yours!

West coast casual

West coast casual clothing is recommended. The weather can change quickly in Victoria. We often have a light breeze so you will be more comfortable wearing layers of clothing. You will need good walking shoes to really explore!

Local Breweries

Craft beer as Art! Beer has been brewed in Victoria longer than anywhere else in British Columbia. Stroll the Beer Mile, a ring of four brewpubs and four breweries that surround the Upper Harbour. Take the Victoria Harbour Ferry or the Pickle Pub Crawl or join a bicycle tour with the Pedaler. West Coast Brewery Tours also offers bus tours to help you explore this dynamic beer community. See: https://www.tourismvictoria.com/eat-drink/craft-b Beer is served as a "sleeve" (14 oz), an imperial pint (20 oz) or a jug (64 oz). You can often get a "growler" (a large bottle) filled at local breweries
