There are many hiking trails in the area, and even one accessible by foot. The first 20 minutes is a fairly strenuous hike, but will lead to several different areas. Let us know where you’d like to go. We have maps available. Water Rock Knob is a 15 minute drive, and is partially paved. If you don’t mind driving a little further, Devils Courthouse, Grandfather Mountain, and Chimney Rock make nice day trips. If you don’t mind getting wet, Sliding Glass Rock is a fun adventure. We also have waterfall recommendations as well.

One of the local favorites is Boojums in downtown Waynesville. If you like Sushi, we recommend Watami, also downtown Waynesville. There are many more restaurants we can recommend, just let us know what you’re hungry for.
