Local Food Scene
Excellent food, plenty of choices, great "small plate" menu with Toasties. These are fantastic grilled sandwiches with cheese, cheese and ham, etc. Closed on Tuesdays. Covered patio provides relief from the Sun or Rain. Reservations are recommended on all days just in case!!

Sightseeing
Great shopping, Churches, and Views from the top of the Walls!!
Only 17.2km via A8!!!
Cobblestone streets, walled city, filled with shopping and views of the countryside from the top of the walls. Wear shoes with good tread as the walls can be uneven and at times slippery. Restaurants are overpriced, but stop at the bakery on the right directly before the entrance to the walls. It is through a high arched doorway and down about 10 steps on left. If lucky, you will catch a hot batch of either sausage (chorizo) bread or pato (duck pate) bread coming out of the stone over. If going with spouses, bring plenty of cash and thirst. There are bars and restaurants serving alcohol tucked in every corner! ;-)
