This beach bar/restaurant is on the south end of Jaco Beach. I did not find the food all that good (typical bar food) but the drinks are just fine, location is nice and the sunsets are awesome...sometimes a DJ. I recommend a taxi, hard to find parking.

I highly recommend Jerah...this is my favorite restaurant, I eat dinner here multiple times on every trip to Jaco.
The owners, Christian and Uticha, have a gem here that I'm sure you will love, if you like Thai Food of course. Christian is a Master Chef, arguably the best Chef in town and Uticha will cater to your every need to ensure a memorable dinning experience.
FYI...Cash only and on the expensive side for Jaco.

Awesome restaurant in the rain forest...dirt floors, chickens running around, strange noises, great food and a sunset. This restaurant is in the mountains behind Jaco...10 minute drive. I recommend taking a taxi though...the road there is very steep and unpaved.

Take A Hike!!
This is a popular thing to do in Jaco for both locals and foreigners...take a hike up Mirador Mountain. El Miro is abandoned ruins that you can hike to for a breathtaking view of Jaco beach. Warring, this is not a flat hiking trail...you will get sweaty!! You should wear comfortable hiking shoes, definitely bring water...along with a few hours to kill. There are 2 observation spots, both are great views and after you check out the ruins, you can continue on a trail all the way to Hermosa. Caution, these trails are not well marked but typically there will be others hiking. This is a local gem that will just cost you some calories!!
