The musical fountain and the carousel with its individually carved animals are special features. On Saturdays in the summer there is a wonderful fireworks show and they often have live music. Just across the street from our home you will find one of the many access points to this park. There are some great views from the top of the park. And if you are quiet you may see some deer or owls asleep in the trees.

Getting Around
Downtown Victoria with its beautiful waterfront Causeway is just about 15 mins drive from our house (on Highway 1). Easy access to Highway 1 or Highway 17. Butchart Gardens is approx. 18 mins drive away. And we are about 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes drive to the Ferry Terminal (for ferries to Vancouver, the lower mainland and the smaller islands).
While we are not directly on a bus route there are 3 bus routes within 8-15mins walk (Bus # 21, Bus # 22 and Bus # 14). Check the Victoria Transit website for more details.
