Verzlanahöllin is a family owned second hand store, owned and run by a mother and her two daughters, located in the heart of downtown Reykjavík, on Laugavegur 26 (the entrance is from Grettisgata street, against Grettisgata 6). It is a booth rental where locals rent booths for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks at a time and sell their used clothes and items, the booth renters themselves decide the prices for their items. This kind of store is a unique nordic concept. You can find precious items and hidden gems for great prices, even icelandic lopapeysa sweater, which usually are sold for much cheaper than in regular stores.

Icelandic activities: swimming pool
A visit to the Laugardalslaug geothermal swimming pool is a unique Icelandic experience. Icelanders love to sit in the hot tubs in the swimming pool and discuss everything under the sun, all year round.
The swimming pool has a selection of hot tubs in various temperatures, a swimming pool, a kids pool with a very fun water slide (great for adults as well), a sauna and a hot tub with heated sea water full of minerals great for the skin.
The swimming pool is located just down the street from our studio, a 2 minute walk.
