Great dog park located in a great people park. It's a win-win! The offleash dog park is divided in half for smaller and larger dogs and is covered in artificial turf so it doesn't get little paws muddy when wet. A great group of regulars support the park and have an active FB group (Veterans Dog Park Alabaster - Community).

Our city's zoo has gone through some dark periods but is now one of its crowning jewels. My last visit was great and the animals appeared well cared for.

Best donut in the USA. The Hoover location is a factory and you can see the donuts coming off the conveyer belt piping hot. That is if you catch the Hot Now sign lit! A special treat.
