Take a ride alongside the beautiful Nantahala River! Departing from Bryson City, this 4½ hour excursion carries you 44 miles to the Nantahala Gorge and back again. Enjoy Bluegrass music and Appalachian stories while traveling along the Tennessee and Nantahala Rivers. The historic Trellis Bridge takes you across Fontana Lake and into the beautiful Nantahala Gorge. Join us for a relaxing ride through quiet country-side on your way to small town life in western North Carolina. Departing from Bryson City, this 4 hour excursion travels 32 miles round-trip to Dillsboro and back again. Experience a ride through the famous Cowee Tunnel. Pass by the famous movie set of The Fugitive starring Harrison Ford! The trip includes an hour-and-a-half layover in the historic town of Dillsboro, where you’ll find more than fifty shops, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and country Inns. There is time to shop, snack, and visit the many unique shops before returning to Bryson City.

There’s even a children’s menu. Gleaming hardwood floors reflect the glow from the huge stone fireplace on cool mornings and evenings. Overhead, brass and wood paddle fans hang from the raftered, vaulted ceiling. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a group event. After dinner, We enjoy a rocking chair in the inn lobby, playing games, sitting outside on the courtyard, walking the historic grounds and most of all,,, reading the Journals of letters from the past written to and from guests and inkeepers going as far back as early 1900s
