The neighbourhood of Vyšehrad is an amazing neighbourhood that has a lot to offer. Vyšehrad Castle is the domain of the area and offers breathtaking views of Lesser Town and the Prague Castle, relaxing strolls in the beautiful green parks or a refreshing morning jog when there is nobody around. On the other side, there is Náplavka on the river bank, with the farmers market every Saturday and many food festivals all year round. The newly constructed hinged windows that decorate Náplavka with galleries, coffee shops and other establishments behind them are something one of a kind that you cannot find anywhere else! Park Folimanka is ideal for those who seek local vibes, located right under the spectacular Nuselský bridge that blows my mind every time I walk under it. Do not forget to look around a little bit while walking in the streets of the neighbourhood, you might notice some cubist architecture! Overall, the district of Vyšehrad is in my opinion quite underrated, as it has a lot to offer, but nobody is actually talking about it, really.
