Forest Park is just over 5,000 acres of forested open space, making it the largest forested urban park in the U.S. A number of trails are in place for hiking and running.

One of the best places to hike year-round. You can do just the lower part with all ages and abilities happy to be there and a more rigorus hike can be added or done instead on the upper trail. It's only about an hour from our place so a day trip is definately doable
