A little museum in the heart of Eton. Worth a visit along with a walk around the College Chapel and the Museum of Eton Life check online for details when they are open and to pre-book. Eton Bridge and High Street are lovely and is packed full of character-cafes, galleries, shops , pubs and restaurants.

Worth a visit along with a walk around the College Chapel and the Museum of Eton Life check online for details when they are open and to pre-book. Eton Bridge and High Street are lovely and is packed full of character-cafes, galleries, shops , pubs and restaurants.
A walk down to the Thames past The Theatre Royal is highly recommended ! See the swans, buy an ice cream or even go on a boat trip up river ! You can get a boat up to Windsor racecourse at certain times- we did this one year and saw a firework display there on bonfire night !

A tiny theatre, bar and Screen Cinema - well worth a look to see whats on - have seen great comedy here Harry Hill [going back a few years!] and Sarah Pascoe to name a couple of stand -up shows. The cinema is also great.

I have had good meals here but would especially recommend as a scenic place to have a drink - it is in the very attractive Windsor Royal Station shopping area. The building was converted from part of the old central railway station built in the 1850's.
