This is an awesome place to go and spend some time learning about all the different birds of prey. They have flying demonstrations everyday and this is worthwhile visiting for all ages. You can even purchase an up close and personal closeness with the birds in the flying demonstration.

This is a historic wooden trestle bridge that is the most amazing thing to see. It is a very easy walk from the parking lot that takes approximately 20-30 min depending on your pace. Well worth the visit. This is in Shawnigan lake which is also a very scenic lake that lots of swimmers and boaters spend a lot of time enjoying in the summer months.

This is a beautiful little bay and village to visit. Walk the Main Street and enjoy one of the many restaurants or shops or take in the Cowichan maritime centre to see the history of Cowichan bay.

You can rent kayaks right here in Maple bay and explore the bay and Birds eye cove. Wander around the boats at the marina, watch for wildlife such as seals, otters and lots of birds. They have a full moon midnight kayak trip where you can see the bioluminescence in the water. Really cool trip to do.
