With restaurants on several Minnesota lakes, the folks at Zorbaz know how to pull off casual lake dining. There are lots of food choices including some of the best specialty pizzas we've ever had (and we've lived in New York City!). The Mexican Pizza and the Zorbaz Zuper Pizza are always hits and are packed with so many toppings you'll get a good arm workout just shoving a slice into your watering mouth.

There are lots of food choices including some of the best specialty pizzas we've ever had (and we've lived in New York City!). The Mexican Pizza and the Zorbaz Zuper Pizza are always hits and are packed with so many toppings you'll get a good arm workout just shoving a slice into your watering mouth.
If you're staying for a week you should plan at least one dinner in town at the Sawmill Inn's Cedars Dining Room & Lounge.

Holly (the owner), grew up on the local lakes and rivers and is passionate about sharing this beautiful wilderness with others. She'll even shuttle the fleet to Sugarcrest so you can enjoy the Sugar Lake Tour:
Paddle to the east end of Sugar Lake were you can enjoy a little more privacy with shallow sandy shores for swimming. Paddle west and have lunch at Sugar Lake Lodge's Otis's restaurant or head south and see if you can find your way into Little Sugar lake. You can even try your luck fishing for bass and walleyes here as well. This crystal clear lake is an absolute gem to paddle.
