The Pele Tower, also known as ‘The Vicars Pele’, was the first of it’s kind. It was built in AD 1300 for the Vicar of Corbridge and was lived in as a fortified vicarage until the early 17th Century.
Today it is a Micro Pub & Brewery selling quality craft ales, ciders, wines and spirits. This truly unique and historic setting has three floors, each with it’s own unique ambience.
The Pele Tower is a Grade 1 Listed building with National Monument Status.
