One of the coolest spots in Athens. Great food all day, huge beer selection and a great/open atmosphere. Pauleys is the only bar in Athens that I would take my parents to.

This is one of the best bars in Athens for patrons 25+. You will find a hodgepodge of Athenians in this bar but not many college students. Several graduate students use this as a study location during the day and it transforms into a great bar scene after dark.
Do note that they do not serve big box domestic beer. Expect to drink craft brews. They also have a great spirits selection.

247 E Broad StThis is one of the best bars in Athens for patrons 25+. You will find a hodgepodge of Athenians in this bar but not many college students. Several graduate students use this as a study location during the day and it transforms into a great bar scene after dark.
Do note that they do not serve big box domestic beer. Expect to drink craft brews. They also have a great spirits selection.
This is again is a great spot for young professionals to relax after a conference here in Athens. The space is HUGE, one of the biggest bars in Athens and it boast a crowd of graduate students and local Athenians. It has two pool tables up stairs and an outdoor patio for good weather days.

Awesome golf course very close to campus. Expect to spend $35-$45ish per 18 holes including a cart. Tee times during the week and/or after 3pm are more affordable. Not too long ago this was the course for a Nationwide Tour Event!

Getting Around
