The areas of beach to the east and west of Bournemouth Pier are some of the most popular and well used sections of Bournemouth Beach.
Easily walkable from the centre of Bournemouth with all the shops and restaurants, central Bournemouth beach is the place to be. Watch dare-devils ride the pier to shore Zip Line and surfers can often be seen either side of the pier.
Hire a deck chair, take a paddle or build the biggest sand-castle, Bournemouth beach will keep the whole family busy.
Attractions in the area include: Bournemouth Oceanarium, Pier Zip, Rock Reef, Happylands Amusements and seasonal attractions at Pier Approach.
