The Ravenna Park Bride is pedestiran & bike-only, steel, lattice-arched bridge built in 1913. It spans the ravine in Seattle's Ravenna Park, a mile-long wooded wonderland that feels nothing like it's in the city.
The bridge was designed by Frank M. Johnson and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated city landmark.
A serene place to watch the sunrise or sunset, the top of the bridge looks down on acres and arces of mature spruce, doug fir, tamarack and deciduous trees below. If you have time, be sure to check out Ravenna Park below and Third Place Books & Cafe or The Pub at Third Place Books on 20th Ave and NE 65th, just up the hill.

Ravenna Park comprise 50 acres of contiguous forested green space in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle. The park encompasses a mile-long, heavily wooded ravine through which Ravenna Creek flows. It's a lovely place to explore anytime of year, however I think it's particularly stunning in the fall with acres of mature vine maple, oak, birch, tamarack, and dogwood. It can get a bit muddy in the rainy season so be sure to wear good shoes and bring your phone for Instagramming!
