The 'Regular' breakfast sandwich is amazing. This is our go-to place for breakfast and the best coffee around (roasted in house). Small menu, but really, just get the breakfast sandwich.

Half Price Margaritas on Monday and Tuesday. All of their food is great but we prefer the Burrito Bowl for quantity AND quality.

Great brunch menu. Also a fun bar after hours. Get there by taking a 10 minute walk along the Yahara River bike path. I recommend the Breakfast Burrito.

Tied for my favorite pizza places anywhere in Madison. Local ingredients and well worth getting if you're in the mood for pizza. Forza and Vegetarian are the best. Best bet is for takeout (and I think they also deliver now) though there is a small eat-in area. You can also take pizza next door to Johnson Public House.

912 E Johnson StTied for my favorite pizza places anywhere in Madison. Local ingredients and well worth getting if you're in the mood for pizza. Forza and Vegetarian are the best. Best bet is for takeout (and I think they also deliver now) though there is a small eat-in area. You can also take pizza next door to Johnson Public House.
My other favorite Madison pizza place. Good for relatively simple/not fancy pizzas. The somewhat spicy 'Roman Candle' pizza is required ordering for us. Delivery or eat-in are good. In the summer they've got patio seating on Willy Street.

Our closest Farmer's Market. Not as big as the one on the Capitol Square but the prices are way better. 4-7pm on Tuesdays from April through October.
