And if it’s not so warm, the friendly staff and cheeriness of it all will surely distract you. The food is unfussy but delicious, with a focus on healthy, Aussie-inspired dishes. Order the granola (tropical if it’s on the menu) and the nutty bread with eggs, avocado and spicy chorizo. Whether you come for brunch, lunch, or just a drink or two, you will leave happy as a clam.

It’s a small space, but it doesn’t feel cramped, attracting both the linger-a-while and the always-on-the-go.
