This place is cool...an hundred feet long combining 3 shop houses. It has a Art gallery, a cafe that opens all day long, a wine cellar, a fine dining session, and garden session, the end a pub and live band...definitely a place to chill out and catch up with local arts and heritage events here.

Famous for its Chee Cheong Fun (Penang style with prawn sauce), muar chee, chicken rice, Thai pork knuckles rice, Laksa and many more Penang street food variety. Can skip the Char Kuey Teow, Hokkien Mee and Curry Mee though. There is another coffee shop (Kafe Mandarin) behind it with just as many selections. The Chee Cheong Fun there is good too.

Genting Cafe

Batu Ferringghi is the tourist belt and lots and lots of night life. I recommend you reach there by 6pm, and stroll the beaches and watch sunset. Then proceeds to Ferringghi Gardens for a beautiful dinner you will not forget, by just stretching the budget a bit on this eatery. Then hit the night markets just on the turn, and get ready to bargain!

Then proceeds to Ferringghi Gardens for a beautiful dinner you will not forget, by just stretching the budget a bit on this eatery. Then hit the night markets just on the turn, and get ready to bargain!
Getting Around
I like this shop as he is one of the first to open the bicycle rental. Reasonable, helpful and lots of choices of bicycles suitable for all ages, and those who never wrote bicycles before!!

Parks & Nature
This is what some say the Bali of Indonesia, from beaches to forest, it gets wild at Escape, hot on the beach but cool and serene on the forest trails. There is Entopia, you shouldn't miss in the world as it house all the butterflies and insert you will never ever encounter so closely. Escape is for young at heart but it will be half day at least for either of this park.
If you do not want 6 legged nor the trills of Escape, then take the trails to visit Monkey Beach, lazz on the beach all day...read a book...pick some shells, drink, eat, and remember to pick up the rubbish and take along with you. On the exit, there are some rubbish bins you can dispose of the rubbish.
