Parks & Nature

Rabbit Island Reaching the Rabbit Island walking through the sea, which separates the two beautiful beaches of Gumusluk, is a unique experience to feel under your feet. It is passed over a half-ruined passage to reach the Rabbit Island. This historical passage was built on the orders of King Mousolos of Halicarnassus during the Hellenistic period. King Mousolos and his beloved Artemisia went to the Rabbit Island to feed the rabbits living there and to watch the spectacular sunsets. All you have to do is reach out to Rabbit Island and walk through the sea. The water level is on your knees. It is time to leave yourself in the clear waters and cool off on the historical remains.
