My guidebook not only offers recommendations for Pretty good flat in Downtown guests, but also for Pretty good flat of Eastern (Keleti) Station guests. The only difference is that guests staying at the Keleti Railway Station will come from Keleti Railway Station by metro number 2 (red metro) 1 stop to Blaha Lujza Square. We wish you a pleasant stay here. Greetings, Victor and Tünde
Every season, there are many cozy restaurants with a terrace where you can taste a good coffee before or after exploring the city, or relax with hot meals or have an evening beer, or wine. There are trams n.4 and n.6 and subway n.1 nearby, House of Terror, Museum of Fine Arts, Heroes' Square and Széchenyi Bath.

Blaha Lujza Square is one of the busiest square in Budapest. It is a few hundred meters from the apartment where you can easily get to anywhere by public transport. I recommend taking tram n.4 or n.6 and taking the n.2 red metro. This subway is 2 stops to Deák Ferenc tér, which is directly connected to metro lines n.1 and n.3. If you can reach your destination by metro n.4 (for example, Gellért Baths), I also recommend subway n.2, (the red metro) 1 stop to Keleti Railway Station and you can directly connect to metro n.4. By tram number 4 or 6 you will find the Liszt Ferenc Square, the House of Terror Museum (Oktogon stop), Margaret Island (Margaret Island stop) or the Westend Shopping Center at the Western Railway Station. Walking from Király Street will take you to Gozsdu Court and the "Ellátóház"pub. From Oktogon, take metro line n.1 to Heroes' Square, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Széchenyi Bath. At Jászai Mari square you can take tram number 2 to travel along the Danube.

Typical foreigners visit the place, followed by restaurants, wine bars and bars with a terrace. How to enter: Take tram number 4 or 6 to "Király street" and walk about 400 meters. Or you will take n.2 (red) metro to "Deák square", about 300 meters walk. Nerby you will find the "Ellátóház " (about 50 meters) as one of the nightlife parties for foreigners.

I'd personally like to recommend this restaurant for it's unique design and friendly cicrcumstances. Not just for it's design , but for it's delicious menu. (Vintage Garden is also perfect for taking pictures for instagram or facebook ;) ) You can enter it the same way as Gozsdu Yard and the exit leads to Dob street. Ellátóház ruin pub and the Jewish quarter is nearby (just a couple minutes on feet)

I recommend this café for it's historical past and unique , beautiful design. Multiple famous hungarian authors wrote their best selling novels and poems like The Paul Street Boys. It's located between Erzsébet avenue and Dohány streer, It's about 100 m away from the Pretty Good Flat of Downtown.

Wellness, Spa
Our country is famous for its spas. It is mainly indicated for arthritis, vasoconstriction, circulatory diseases and spinal disorders. Even if you just want to collect and recharge your energy in the healing water, or enjoy a sauna session or maybe a salt chamber. Both spas are indoor and outdoor.
The springs inside Gellert Mountain provide water for the spa. Refresh yourself at the spa. One of its special features is the Bathing ornament in bath tub for couples: Private thermal water bathing for two persons in a historical setting, in the original Zsolnay tile marble bathtub of the Gellért Spa with a separate sauna room. For a delicious bath, we also serve a basket of fruits and delicious champagne. The easiest way to get there is to take metro line 4 from an Eastern Railway Station or a Blaha Lujza Square to Saint Gellert Square.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath, nicknamed Szecska, is the largest bath complex in Budapest. One of the favorite places of foreign tourists. A total of 21 outdoor and indoor pools and a sauna session is waiting for you. The first artesian well serving the bath was drilled by Vilmos Zsigmondy between 1868 and 1878, and the water from the 970 meter deep fountain burst at 74.5 degrees. In 1936, the second well was drilled, led by Ferenc Pávai-Vajna: the 1240-meter-deep well bursts into Europe's hottest source of hot water, with a temperature of 77 ° C. The medicinal water of the bath is recommended for patients suffering from degenerative joints of the joints, as well as for the treatment of chronic and semi-acute arthritis, orthopedic and accidental after-treatment. The easiest way is from Blaha Lujza Square, take tram number 4 or 6 to Oktogon stop, or metro line 2 to Deák square, then underground line 1 to Széchenyi Bath stop. Nearby places: Heroes' Square, Museum of Fine Arts, House of Terror Museum, Liszt Ferenc Square.

My favorite summer party place.
From May to September, it will welcome you with concerts and an after party. Outdoor, with 3 venues to choose from in 3 styles of music to dance until dawn.

Nightlife for young people
Budapest is the most popular entertainment place for young people. It is waiting for you on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you arrive after midnight, you can no longer avoid the huge queue.

Gozsdu Court is only a stone's throw away. A ruin-pub, with free entry, a typical place for foreigners. Concerts and dance until dawn. Getting there: From Király Street you will enter Gozsdu Courtyard, at the end of it turn right on the other side you will find 20 meters walk.

One of the unavoidable parties of the Pest night, the "Fogasház". The good news is that you are within walking distance of "the Prety good flat in downtown", it's only 650 meters, 8 minutes walk. The Pretty good flat of the Keleti station is also close to the Tooth House: 1 stop from Keleti Railway Station to metro line 2 and Blaha Lujza Square, 650 meters, 8 minutes walk. It is mainly a place for foreigners to entertain, and is actually a huge ruin pub with more rooms and musical tastes, open until 6 am. The place has an incredible atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

Városnézés
If you are just a few days in Budapest, I suggest the following places that you should not miss, especially easy access from both apartments.
The fortress on the top of Gellért Hill with a wonderful view over Budapest. UNESCO declared the Gellert Hill a World Heritage Site in 1987 along with the Buda Castle Hill and the panoramic views of the two banks of the Danube. Getting there: From Blaha Lujza Square, take bus 973 for 5 stops to Rudas Spa. From there 700 meters -13 minutes walk.

Geeting there: From Blaha Lujza Square take tram n. 4 or n. 6 to Oktogon stop. From there, 12 minutes walk, 1.2 kilometers. There are also cafés and restaurants on Szent István square. House of Terror Museum is a great, exciting, well-executed place. It contains a lot of information about the history of Hungary. This is a program I would recommend to anyone of all ages, as well as engaging a teenager as well as an adult. Closed on Mondays, open on weekends. Visitors can rent audio guides in Hungarian, English, Italian, Russian, German, French, Spanish. The Liszt Ferenc Square, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Heroes' Square are within walking distance. (or take metro n.1 to Oktogon 4 stops to Heroes' Square and to the Muzeum)

One of the symbols of Budapest is Heroes' Square, which is also the entrance to the City Park. The square was built for the 1896 Millennium Celebration and commemorates the millennial history of the Hungarians. There is a statue of 14 emblematic historical figures with an obelisk in the center and the statue of Archangel Gabriel at the top, which won the Grand Prix of the 1900 Paris World Expo. Heroes' Square is the most characteristic and spacious square in the capital. The two sides are framed by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle. Large-scale public events and celebrations are often held here as well as important tourist attractions. In the immediate vicinity of Liszt Ferenc Square, metro line 1 is 4 stops between Oktogon and Heroes' Square.
