Rheinaue is a great park relatively close to the city center. You can either take the subway across the street ( number 66 towards Bad Honnef or number 62 towards Oberkassel ) and jump off at the station called "Rheinaue", or walk next to the Rhein until you reach there. It would take you approximately 30min to walk.

Tanzplatte is a small open air dance floor next to the Rhein where people meet on warm Sunday afternoons to dance Salsa, Kizomba and Zouk, But it is also on the middle of a beautiful walking path if you want to enjoy a sunny day surrounded by nature. Continuing to the next bridge ( Friedrich-Ebert-Brücke ) you will probably meet a lot of dogs since there is a large meeting point for dogs at the end of the path just under the bridge. This is one of the few parks where dogs are aloud to run free in Bonn so it can be quite crowded on sunny days. An experience and a popular place for locals to meet.
