A perfect place for a convenient lunch while you are out in the center. Great schiacciata (=typical bread of tuscany) with a big variety of fillings. One glass of red whine for 1 Euro. One minute from 'Academia delle belle arti' (where you can find the original statue of David from Michelangelo). Most people who go there are locals, the staff is really nice!!! A must!!

Great building (former prison), a lot of statues from the Renaissance, one big reason to go there is the statue of Donatello 'David' from bronze; not as well knows as 'Gli uffizi' and hence this visit does not involve exaggerated waiting time!
