(There is no pier, but if you're into fishing the jetty is a popular fisherman's hangout.)

If you want to go out on the town at night, Broadway at the Beach, Murrell's Inlet Marsh Walk, the Market Commons or Mini Golf along King's Highway (Bus 17) are good options.
