I recommend a trip to Arthurs Seat to everyone. Great views from the top on a clear day and its not a hard walk. Can easily be done from the apartment.

Fantastic to walk around. Free entrance although the glasshouses are not. 5 minutes from the apartment.

Check the tides first and if the tide is out you can walk out to the island. Also a Roman Fort nearby.
