Sights around town
Here are some of our favorite landmarks in downtown York.
Built in 1888, this Dempwolf designed building is still a go-to spot for locals and tourists alike. We suggest picking up a bite to eat and heading up to the loft, located just above the Take Five Expresso coffee shop, to people watch and admire the architecture. The apartment is situated just around a corner from the market house. The Market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Get into Nature
Options for getting a breath of fresh air and working off all of those delicious treats from Central Market.
If you need a breath of fresh air and some easy walking trails, head over to the Nixon Park Nature Center. They have an indoor educational center plus nearly 200 acres of land to roam. Our favorite is taking the kids to hunt for tadpoles in the stream. If you have little ones who don't mind getting dirty this is a must see.
