Longer walking trails on the other side of the creek
To access the longer walking trails on the east side of the creek you will need to paddle south from the boat house a few hundred feet to a point where you see a decoy duck on a stick. You then turn into the marsh and paddle up to a primitive landing where you can follow trails to the east. At certain areas where the trails split, look for a decoy duck to point the way. If you keep working your way northeasterly on the trails you will eventually find the sheep pen. Feel free to pet them and feed them leaves through the gate. Be cautious of the electric fence. ⚡️
