Visitor Attraction

The Eden Project in Cornwall is a popular UK tourist attraction. Opened in March 2001, it claims to be home to the world's largest indoor rainforest. The site covers over 13 hectares and has two massive transparent dome enclaves, known as biomes. Each biome has plants from a particular region of the world. One is called the Mediterranean Biome and the other is the Rainforest Biome. There is also a large outdoor garden, restaurants and cafes and an education center. The main ethos of the attraction revolves around connectivity and transformation. It aims to explore the relationship between plants and people. The site is open all year round, featuring ice rinks and winter attractions during the colder months.

Newquay’s historic harbour is where Newquay got its name – formerly known as Towan Blystra – the town got a new harbour, or ‘quay’ and the name came with it! The harbour is one of Newquay’s most picturesque locations and even has its own small beach to relax on. With a restaurant by the beach, and several other restaurants and pubs overlooking it, you can enjoy a drink or meal whilst taking in those views. Nothing feels quite so traditionally Cornish and relaxing as watching the fishing boats coming home with those spectacular sea and beach views in the background.

Padstow is a charming working fishing port, home to Cornwall’s most popular cycling route; the Camel trail which links Padstow to Wadebridge. There are also regular ferries which cross the river to arrive at Rock. Padstow’s sandy beaches allow for some exhilarating water sports while plenty of great eateries are available such as Rick Stein’s restaurant.
