If you like to hike a mountain then Stórurð is spectacular place to see. There you can see gigantic boulders with glacial water around, west below Dyrfjöll mountains.

Fardagafoss waterfall is situated close to the main road to Seyðisfjörður about 5 km from Egilsstaðir, road 93 to Seyðisfjörður. The ascent from the parking area to the fall takes about half an hour. You can climb dawn to a little cave behind the waterfall and I'm sure you will enjoye it.
