City/town information
WANT A BIT OF NATURE PORN?
TOUR THE BURLEIGH NATIONAL PARK
It's a short walk from Lady Patricia. Go it alone or take a guided tour with our first nations Elders. Pack your swimmers, water and snacks.
GO BOATING, SUP OR SWIMMING AT
TALLEBUDGERA CREEK
The boat ramp is situated 500 metres from Lady Patrica. Return the car home in the middle of summer when it can be challenging to get a parking spot for a trailer. There's a long SUP you can do on an outgoing tide from Elanora to the boat ramp near Lady Patricia. If this is your thing ask us and we'll send you a location pin.
HIKE THE WATERFALLS OF THE CURRUMBIN VALLEY
Drive past the Currumbin Rock Pools right to the end of the road (about seven minutes more) and you'll hit what you really want to see namely Cougal Cascades and many other waterfalls. Pack a picnic, some sturdy shoes and swimmers and be rewarded with natures finest.
SUNSET DREAMING
Pack food for a BBQ and head to the New Kirra lookout for sunset vibes. The newly renovated lookout has two BBQ's that are free to use. If you want to be more local, grab a couple of the camping chairs from the storage shed and wander down the end of the street to enjoy a stunning light show and happy hour.
