A leisurely 10 minute stroll through Huskisson will bring you to our closest beach – Shark Net Beach, accessible through the White Sands Park or next to the swimming pool.
The best surf beaches are on the southern side as well – Cave Beach, Aussie pipe (Summercloud), Five Mile and Steamers Beach. Please be aware these are not calm bay beaches, they are not patrolled and, while they are beautiful, they are very exposed and can be dangerous. If you want real surf head north to Culburra and Crookhaven heads or south to Sussex inlet, Bendalong, Manyana and Green Island.

The award-winning complex is a not-for-profit community organisation with a very small team of staff and a very large number of volunteers who are dedicated to the preservation of the lady Denman Ferry, artefacts and history of the local region.
