Beautiful formal gardens to wander around and lots of woodland areas to explore. The house itself is well worth a visit.

It gets very busy in the summer so out of season visits are more sedate. There are plenty of shops, cafe, restaurants and pubs, as well as boat and fishing trips, so Looe offers pretty much everything. Plenty of walks along the coastline and from West Looe you can walk the 5.5 miles to Polperro.
