I listed this as a "nightclub" but I'm not sure that's exactly correct. Whistle Stop is a dive bar with an awesome dancing scene at night. Check out "Booty Basement" and their 80's 90's nights! They're a cash only bar, but their low-overhead translates to big, strong drinks and a great beer menu.

Easily one of the best coffee shops in the city, Krakatoa is a unique neighborhood spot with a huge patio, perfect for summer days. Their coffee is magically good, and their sandwiches are dangerous. Suggestion: their orange blossom latte, the Ubehebe sandwich.
