The only serviced, outdoor ice skating facility during the winter months and a great place to beat the summer heat with at the public pool or slashpad. Enjoy a treat at Beavertails any time of year!

Sightseeing
This amazing sightseeing location was the main point of defence protecting St. John's harbour since the 17th century. It's also where the first transatlantic signal was received by Marconi. The views are wonderful and there are some rather striking trails to hike!

Travel to the edge of the earth or at least the edge of our little island! Visiting Cape Spear takes you well out into the Atlantic Ocean as it's the farthest East you can go! Some nice rolling seaside trails await and it's quite likely you'll spot a whale or two!

Travel to the edge of the earth or at least the edge of our little island! Visiting Cape Spear takes you well out into the Atlantic Ocean as it's the farthest East you can go! Some nice rolling seaside trails await and it's quite likely you'll spot a whale or two!
