Incredible sushi with a lot of interesting twists. Vancouver itself has incredible sushi but this is a personal favourite. More on the expensive end.

AMAZING for breakfast or dinner. A little more upscale but not too expensive. Incredible food and incredible environment. If you go and you like calamari that is a must. They also have very unique specialty drinks! Make sure to make reservations early. Also great for brunch

If you like oysters you have to check out Rodney's. Ask for a table on the top level. The vibe here is great - all the staff are so enthusiastic and they play great music. For other foods, I highly recommend the pasta. They have happy hour from 4-6pm!

Highly recommend for a nice bar to meet some locals and have some great beer! $10 pizzas and $5 beers during happy hour times!

If you have a car, I highly recommend a day trip/half-day trip up to whistler. The drive is incredible and there is a lot to see in Whistler itself. If you are coming in Winter/Spring skiing or at least going to see the ski hills is very very very worth the drive!
