East a Beach Pond area hosts a model boat club, a monthly classic car/ bike event, fresh fish shops, car park, toilets and cafe. A great place to eat your fish and chips from the shop few minutes walk away. Alternatively borrow my Bill Martin leaflet to learn and explore the history behind the old railway carriage homes along the sea front.

Great little museum and cafe for the air enthusiasts. Where I discovered that Albert Ball VC was my G.Grandfathers best friend. My family tell me they both helped each other though their training course (especially helping each other over and around the obstacle courses, as they were both so short ! )
