“Get a glimpse into pre-contact Hawaii. A beautiful setting where you can leave the modern world behind and imagine a time when Native Hawaiians lived untouched by the modern world. It is an old “sanctuary” where people could come to be spared from punishment. The bay nearby is home to turtles and a large variety of tropical fish.”

“Another amazing and soft white sand beach on this beautiful island! This is a great spot to go boogie boarding or body surfing or sun bathing...but be mindful...the waves can crash big here so if in doubt, don't go out. But enjoy the beach just the same! ”

“Plenty of sea life and fairly shallow water. There is a 3900 feet semicircle rock breakwater across most of the bay which helps from being battered by high waves. There are outdoor showers and onsite parking lot. ”
