“Some tips for getting around in Bronte. You’re in the middle of the famous Bondi to Coogee walk. It’s a quiet area all to explore! For breakky we would recommend Iggy’s bakery for a take away croissant 🥐. This is in Macpherson St - best way to go from home is to turn left in Pacific st and take the first left, lots of stairs will take you up to that street where you can also find Huxton ( perfect for brunch ) and The Three Blue Ducks ( I’d suggest dinner there ).There’s beautiful views if you take that shortcut so make sure you turn around to enjoy once you’re on top of the road! The beach is a one minute walk ( you’re just a block behind ). There is a little street which takes you straight to the beach and the beach from cafes - Salina and Bronte Belo are the best ones. The fish and chips ( last shop ) is very good too for a picnic on the Bronte Park. The Bus stop it’s right before the park, you can miss it. That one bus takes you to Bondi Junction where you can catch the train to the city. Help yourself with the Sydney guide left on the coffee table for you! The costal walk to Bondi is about 15-20 minutes ( go left looking at the ocean from Bronte Beach ) Bondi is we’re most of backpackers like to go, so definitely the place to go if you feel lonely, it’ll be buzzing. There’s plenty of cafes and restaurants! If you get the chance do walk to Coogee ( right looking at the ocean from Bronte Beach ). Make sure you go for a drink at the Coogee Pavilion ( one the best rooftop with a view in the world ) food is also great. Let me know if you need anything, I hope you’ll enjoy your stay :) We’ve been living in Sydney for 6 years and I can tell you Bronte is the best spot to have a real feeling of the Sydney eastern suburbs neighbourhood no doubt.”

“It is in the CBD under the 2000 postcode yet it has all the relaxed vibes needed for the tourist. It is walkable distance to Townhall and Central station with two tram lines in Haymarket itself. Chinatown is part of Haymarket and so food options are aplenty. We are also near Darling Quarter/Square and Darling Harbour where entertainment and food venues cannot be missed. There is no other better suburb to live if you are in Sydney for holidays”

“Kirribilli is one of the most iconic locations. Not only home to the Prime Minister but so close to the city you can almost touch the Opera House. Surrounded by water the serenity is unique. Take a walk around the harbour foreshore, grab a coffee, spoil yourself at one of the amazing restaurants or meet the locals at the sailing club, There is a small theater called The Ensemble which is in the village as well as regular markets, numerous shops and a supermarket. From Kirribilli you can walk across the harbour bridge into the Rocks and Circular Quay ( Opera House ) in 30 mins, ”

“A 25 minute bus ride walk up to Parramatta Rd via Lyons Rd and catch the 412 bus. Multi-layered and diverse, Marrickville is a melting pot of cultures with an all-embracing attitude. It’s a foodie hangout with a vibrant music and art scene, and enviable infrastructure that keeps locals well connected. Once known for it's Greek food (which you can still find) now more known for excellent Vietnamese food. ”

“A 20 minute walk from Camperdown or catch the 470 bus outside the front of building (15 mins). Bohemian and funky by nature, Glebe’s rich architectural makeup is the backbone of this historic neighbourhood.
