The coach house was exactly as advertised and perfect for us. It was spacious but still warm, with excellent kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the heated floor was especially nice. The location is very rural which is great for country walks; the area is really beautiful. There was however no phone signal, but although the wifi was a bit weak it worked well enough. A brilliant getaway for a big group!

Trevenna Cottage is a cosy, contemporary, hidden country cottage for two. Upon arrival we found ice cubes, lemon & lime ready for our G&Ts + a box with delicious Cornish goodies and even a Champagne bottle stopper was there. An illustrated book with loads of information was available and all communication with Ian was perfect. Good bed, big bathroom, good shower, nice kitchen and a lovely private garden. We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at Trevenna's and can highly recommend Ian's cottage. Thanks a lot Ian for sharing your Trevenna Cottage, cheers, Pimm and Marcel.

Trevenna is a pretty quaint cottage in a great location, it is far enough away from the town to be quiet and peaceful but also close enough to the shops for supplies etc. The facilities of the cottage were all we needed and more, the kitchen was well kitted out and the cottage was furnished beautifully throughout. The surrounding area has an endless possibility of walks with woodlands nearby and the South West coastal path just a ten minute drive away. We would happily return to Trevenna and will be recommending to our friends and family.

We are currently travelling around England from Australia and wanted to experience an English cottage in Cornwall. We did our research and located this gem of a place. From day one Ian the host has been nothing but helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was more than helpful and has taken the time to ensure everything goes to plan on our arrival from Australia. We have not experienced the small country lanes before and thankfully Ian provided full directions and even checked that we had arrived ok via email. The place was easy as a result of the directions and is situated in an idyllic quite location which was superb for us after a busy few days in London. A drive over to Padstow or Fowey was no problem at all from this spot. This cottage is suited to those wanting to have a break away from the hustle and bustle and is well suited to rest and relaxation away from it all. We stayed four nights and were well rested as a result. The cottage itself is very well appointed and comfortable with everything you could need. One night we visited Looe and purchased the best local seafood we have had in a long time and returned to have a lovely meal in the private garden. The location is secluded but in no way an issue to get around local spots. The bed was super comfortable and we had some of the best sleep in a long time. We will leave this location with some great memories of Cornwall and this cottage only added to the experiance. I can't think of any negatives at all about this place and the interaction with Ian the host was supurb. Thanks Ian for preparing the firewood and coal so we could enjoy a warming fireplace. Big Thumbs up from us we had a great time. We will be back on our next trip to England.

The cottage was in a beautiful quiet location, perfect for some R&R! Ian was very helpful both before and during our stay, checking to make sure we had arrived and were settled. The website provided plenty of suggestions for local places to eat and things to do. We would recommend Pengellys the fishmongers in Looe and a day trip to Padstow for fish and chips at Rick Steins. The cottage itself had all the helpful little extras that you might not want to pack for a couple of days such as milk, soaps etc. When we arrived there was a tea pot set out with some lovely short bread biscuits which was very welcome after a long journey. We would definitely recommend to anyone and hopefully one day we will be back! Thank you Ian.

Trevenna Cottage was a great choice for our relaxing romantic break in Cornwall. Ian was beyond helpful before we arrived, making sure we had all the information and advice we could possibly need. The instructions were perfect and allowed us to find the house easily. It is 1 mile down a single track, so feels like the perfect hideaway. The shops in the village stock everything you could possibly want (and the bacon from the butchers in the Premier store was amazing!). The cottage was well equipped, with a lovely little log burner, and beautifully refitted bathroom, and the little extras (such as the cleaning pack, information booklet, towels and and robes) were a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more comfortable. I'd highly recommend this cottage for a quiet, relaxing break.

Trevenna is probably one of the nicest places you can stay at when you're looking for a cozy cottage in Cornwall. You immediately feel at home and don't mind a rainy day when you 'have' to stay in

We're so grateful that Darren and Alex shared their lovely home with us. The space they've created is stunning - and in a great location too. Both were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome but without being in any way obtrusive. The room itself was great, as was the accompanying bathroom, and we came away from the whole experience feeling they'd taken b and b to a whole new level. We look forward to our next visit, and in the meantime will be recommending the mill wholeheartedly to family and friends. Nige and Gerry

A Fantastic Cornish Welcome - Alex picked me up from the Pedestrian Ferry I got from Plymouth and straight away I was made to feel welcome. The Loft room was very beautiful and incredibly comfortable - it had everything I needed - great bed - black out blinds should I want to sleep past the rising sun - tea making facilities and a mini fridge. But I was also made welcome to use the kitchen should I want. In the morning I was lucky enough to sample Alex's homemade bread with some eggs - it was very good. Would happily stay here again should I ever be passing through the beautiful area. A great place to stay if you are attending a wedding at the Fort South of Milbrook.

What a start to our little get away! We spent three nights here and we just felt so at home! Everything was presented and done so well...with little detail that made it feel like a hotel not a 'B&B' The whole building is breathtaking with amazing light, views and woody smells from the timbers! We had total house envy! Breakfast was lovely..with loads of choice and our own little shelves and areas in the kitchen! Darren and Julie where so easy to talk to and it was so interesting learning about the house and their past and future plans over breakfast! Amazing walks around the little village every night and 'The Canteen' at the top of the bank is a must!

Lovely bright, spacious room in the top floor apartment. The whole apartment was very clean and well kept and the kitchen was well equipped. It was the ideal location for me as I was spending a few days at the university. It's also very close to town and has a nice park with views of the Hoe just across from it. We enjoyed our stay over Easter Weekend break. Karen waited for us to give a key to the Farmhouse and a brief introduction to the area after we arrived a bit later than we expected. The area is beautiful, near a nice cosy pub and restuarant. Supermarket is not too far away. 30 mins drive to the Eden project, Boscastle town (highly recommended), and Tintagle Castle. The Farmhouse is spacious and beautiful. You don't need anything for the kitchen if you love cooking. The only thing we forgot to take with us was pairs of slippers. Would love to come back to again and recommend for family for a get away break.

We had a wonderful stay at Rylands and Karen was a fantastic host. She was waiting on the driveway to meet us when we arrived and instantly made us feel welcome. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, including Karen leaving milk and teabags for our arrival. The house is in a beautiful location, which is quiet yet near enough to the local pub(by car) and lots of sightseeing. It is also very near to the A30, which is the main road to south Cornwall. The location is also handy for exploring Devon too. Overall, we had one of the best holidays ever and a wonderful welcome place to stay. We would highly recommend.

The house is very nicely updated and comfortable. The back garden was particularly nice since we wee in Plymouth over a mild weekend and were able to leave the doors open while we were home! Our plan was to rent bikes to get around, but the walk into town wasn't bad at all, and the neighbourhood is so cute! There is a large, breathtaking park sitting over the city of Plymouth not too far from the house. It was a great place to watch local dogs run and play with their owners.

A very welcoming property in a glorious location with great views and plenty and of wildlife. Very peaceful, just the sound of a trickling stream and the various species of birds all around. We had lovely weather for the time of year which added greatly to the scenery. Parking more than adequate and spacious, yet comfy, rooms. Three very large sofas and a big six seater dining table offered more than sufficient space for our party of 4 adults and one child. All three bedrooms have their own on suite which was an excellent bonus. Highly recommended!

We have just spent a most relaxing and wonderful weekend at this lovely retreat in Cornwall. Everything there was absolutely perfect. The setting is beautiful, the beds were sumptuous, the area is peaceful (and full of natural wildlife) and was just perfect for walking. The house is very well equipped and even had board games. This was a lovely place for us all to spend New Year (with my partner and 3 children) as it was ideal for country walks but still close enough to shops/restaurants. The only very tiny criticism was that there were no cleaning products at all (and I wouldn't usually bring any with me) so was unable to clean worktops, toilets or bath/showers. Having said that, the property was lovely and clean on arrival and we'd love to stay there again!

I booked this cottage to visit Devon with five other friends. Right after booking Caroline sent me details of the cottage, how to get keys etc. The information was very useful. Since we were going from London after work on Friday, we reached there after midnight. Check in was really easy as we got the keys from the nearby hotel and easily got in without any fuss. The cottage is in a very quiet and peaceful location. It was very clean. Each room had an attached bath which was very useful. First floor had a very open lounge and kitchen along with the small terrace. To our surprise, the cottage had SKY tv and BT infinity wireless as well. Overall we were very satisfied with the quality and facilities of the cottage. provided, you have a car, the cottage is very well placed in plymouth. We easily drove to thurlestone, salcombe, kingsbridge on the east and cornwall, looe, fish village, land's end on the west. Additionally there is a massive golf course right around the corner too. Caroline was very flexible with check ins and check outs. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to take a break from the city life, breath fresh air in peace and quiet, and want to explore both Devon and Cornwall attractions and beaches.

The lodge was as described, nicely decorated with a brilliantly social living/dining/kitchen area upstairs. Plenty of chairs and cutlery/crockery for all 6 of us who stayed there. A beautiful and tranquil Grade II listed coach house, recently renovated to a high standard. The house has its own gardens, self contained private courtyard, open plan flagstone living area with log burner, modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher. Upstairs, there is one double and a twin with a separate bathroom. The Old Coach House is within the grounds of The Old Vicarage, tucked behind the historic church in Princetown, a perfect spot to explore Dartmoor and the nearby town of Tavistock. Guests have a private courtyard & garden however they also have access to the gardens of the main house. We live on site and are happy to assist and help our guests in any way we can and encourage guests to knock should they require anything to make their stay more comfortable. We have 3 girls who are always happy to have extra children to play with in the gardens. In the summer months there is a trampoline and swings which are guests are welcome to use. The garden of the main house backs onto Dartmoor National Park. The village of Princetown is the home of the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, along with two friendly local pubs serving the infamous Jail Ale and good quality home cooked food. There is also the locally renowned Fox Tor Cafe which serves a great breakfast to set you up for a day of activities on the moor! All are within easy walking distance. The nearby stannary & market town of Tavistock is a ten minute car journey away and has numerous cafes, restaurants and local interesting shops to explore. The pannier market is open almost everyday and regular farmers markets held in the town square sell various locally grown vegetables, rare breed meats and locally made items. Dogs are welcome and we provide essentials such as a dog bowl, dog towels & shampoo.了解更多

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The Old Coach House. The stand-out feature for us was the log burner, with lots of kindling provided, made for a cosy evening when the weather was blustery outside. The hosts were very helpful and the check-in was simple. Our best experience on airbnb yet - will definitely book again.

This is a lovely little place. A modern, clean annexe within an old vicarage. Full of character and a great location for exploring Dartmoor. The accommodation was well equipped and clean. The electric shower could've been better but the wood burner was great. Zoe was a great host, very helpful and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at the coach house was by far our best air bnb experience ever! Zoe provides all the little touches that make the holiday a real treat :) the house has everything you need and is so comfortable! We really like the high quality finish of the property. The area is absolutely beautiful and a fab location for exploring Dartmoor. The only tip we would give is bring slippers :) while the slate floor is gorgeous it can be a little chilly in the morning!!! Having said that, Zoe provides a huge basket of wood and the fire heats the space up in no time. Thank you Zoe, you are a wonderful host x

Zoe was on hand (busy decorating}to help with our questions. Loved Lolly the collie . We would certainly stay there again if we made the trek from Scotland.

Main bedroom has a double and single bed.Bedroom two has two singles. Our house is attached to the cottage so the key is available at any time. Our beautiful cottage stands on the outskirts of Widecombe in the Moor, near the heart of Dartmoor. Set in the Widecombe Valley, Berrywood Cottage is a charming and cosy retreat for those looking to get away from it all. Guests can walk into Widecombe or explore the moor itself A cosy, self contained, semi-detached cottage. There are one double and twin rooms on the top floor, and a private bathroom with shower. Heating is provided by radiators. The Lounge/Diner is at the front of the house with French Windows enabling beautiful views across the garden and out onto the Moor. Sleeps up to 5. The cottage/annex has 2 comfortable double bedrooms with clean bed linen and fresh towels. Each bedroom has wardrobe and chest of drawer. there is a full equipped kitchen with electric cookers, microwave oven and fridge freezer. The dinning/sitting room has french windows which gives wonderful view across the garden lawn to the open moor. We have organic vegetable garden, which you are welcome to gather for your own meals. Washer and Dryer is not hooked up but we will provide free laundry service for you anytime. We are very happy to advice you on the area. The cottage has open access to Dartmoor, for which we can offer you assistance via maps and guidebooks. we can also by prearrangement offer you guided walks, tailor made to suit your requirements. Breakfast is not included. Widecombe is a historic village, with its parish church rightly known as the cathedral of the moor. it is also home to the famous widecombe fair. The area is surrounded by beautiful Tors and streams. Hidden valleys contain the remains of many past settlements, from medieval villages destroyed by the black death, to stone age and bronze age hut circles. the world famous Merrivale stone row is only half hours drive away. Horse riding and canoeing are also popular local activities. surrounding villages and towns offer regular farmers markets, with a taste of local (website hidden) most of these villages you will find a warm welcome in their tearooms and inns. the larger villages also home their own traditional country fair, emphasising country music and folk dancing. Many of Dartmoors long distance walks pass this way, including the very popular two moor way which links the south Dartmoor coast with the Exmoor coast. Best to bring your own car to really indulge your self here on the moors. Breakfast is not served but we have muesli, eggs, bread and milk for your first day of your arrival so you can relax and enjoy your morning. You also have access to free teas and coffee. If required, we can provide breakfast with £5 (smoothie, yogurt, bacon, egg, mushroom and toast.) extra per person. We can also provide special Japanese dinner with extra £15 per person. There is a TV&DVD player in the lounge for your use and WIFI is available. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. you may be able to pick your own organic vegetables from our garden in season. Berrywood is not suitable for wheel chairs as we have no downstairs bedroom ... Sorry. We are very happy to advice you on the area. The cottage has open access to Dartmoor, for which we can offer you assistance via maps and guidebooks. We can also by prearrangement offer you guided walks, tailor made to suit your requirements. Breakfast is not included. once out of our gate you are on open moor. we are on the side of Wind Tor and the route of the Two Moors way. plenty of cattle, sheep and ponies all around us. It takes a little longer, but it is possible to walk to the village across the moor instead of country lanes. We have plenty of maps and guide books to help you! Also in bad weather we can loan you raincoat and wellington boots. Hopefully not needed. Best to bring your own car. You should be aware the nearest food stores and petrol stations are in Ashburton and Bovey Tracey. Your own means of transport is essential. Unfortunately, we have no reliable public transport service to Widecombe. Apart from waterproof clothing it is important to have strong walking footwear. We should tell you that we are on the open moor, continually visited by cattle. ponies, sheep and cows graze just inches away from the house, so get your cameras on stand by. If you are lucky, you might even get to see new born lambs and even baby ponies.了解更多

My family's stay with Miho and Pete was among the best experiences I've ever had on Airbnb after over 10 trips. Check-in was where the magic began. After a long and tiring drive from London, we were greeted with smiles on the driveway as we pulled up to the cottage. After getting a tour of the home and lovely garden, we sat down and got to know the two hosts over some fresh scones that Miho had prepared. The home itself exceeded our expectations. The rooms were tidy, colorful, clean, and the kitchen fully stocked and full of goodies for us to enjoy (such as local milk and eggs). The location was serene. Just a couple hours away from Cornwall, Widecombe in the Moor is a quaint little village surrounded by what seems like unending greenery. It was really Miho and Pete that made our experience special. We spent the mornings chatting on the front lawn about our stories, the history of the land, and various other topics while overlooking the beautiful Dartmoor sunrise. Both hosts were full of recommendations, and even offered to accompany us around some nearby towns. On our last morning Pete was also kind enough to take us on a short hike around the home. I couldn't recommend Miho and Pete any higher. They are what the Airbnb community is all about: true connections with warm people around the world. We look forward to keeping in touch with them, and wish our stay had been longer. If you have the chance to stay with them, don't hesitate!

The cottage is beautifully located in Dartmoor and the view from our bedroom window was fantastic. The description of the cottage is accurate. Ample supplies of fruit, müsli, milk, coffee, tea, butter, bread, jams were put in the kitchen for us on our arrival and Miho had made us a welcome cake with icecream. Miho and Pete were very eager to assist anytime. They came over with vegetables from the garden, asked if we needed advice on the surroundings, wanted our laundry done etc. Pete got out a longbow for our children and showed them how to use it; they were delighted and had a lot of fun with it. A perfect starting point for exploring Dartmoor and the Devon coast as well.

Our hosts did everything in their power to make us feel welcome. Miho provided homemade cookies and cream puffs on arrival. Miho also provided essential supplies such as fruit, cereal, bread, eggs , and fresh Devon milk. Both Peter and Miho went out of their way to make sure our kids had a great time by leaving out toys, walking them to a pond, and leading us by car to a wonderful part of the park that we would never have found otherwise. They knew exactly what our children would enjoy. It was a wonderful getaway that we will remember for a very long time.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Miho and Peter's Cottage. The cottage feels homey, beautiful view from the living room to the green valley. It's location amidst the wild expenses of Darmoor's National Park is stunning. A basket of fruits and miho's collection of jams were set in the handy kitchen. The rear garden supplied fresh vegetables and herbs which we our doughter could peek every day. Miho and Pete did all they could to make us feeling comfortable and sort out all our needs. They are friendly, talkative and pleasant. They joined us for a day trip and showed us hidden corners in the park, at evening they host us for an unforgettable dinner. It is a simple and humble place, well equipped for self catering and well located in the middle of the park, enabling a good access to all other villages and Devon's beautiful beach towns. Perfect for couples of families. We will be happy to come again, hopefully next summer

Miho & Pete are brilliant hosts. It was a very warm welcome. They provided helpfull hints to explore dartmoor. We enjoyed to use the beautiful garden and relaxed with a tremendous view from the terrace. Our kids loved to explore Miho's vegetable garden with her. The accomodation is a perfect starting point to either stay and relax in Dartmoor or to have trips to the very nice souther coast of Devon between Exeter and Plymouth.

The house is beautiful and cosy and filled with paintings and homely touches. The setting is great, right on the moors with sheep rambling around. Me and my family had a fantastic stay at Miho's place. Miho and Pete were so friendly and accommodating and waited up to welcome us arriving late from London. Miho went above and beyond by writing my mum and birthday cars, leaving a little gift on her bed and even made her a beautiful birthday cake!! We couldn't have asked for more. The house is in a beautiful location with an incredible view and we were lucky to have a lovely dry day in the middle of December. Thanks a million Miho and Pete xxx

LOCATION There is a wealth of local attractions easily accessible from Trengrove Cottage including; Talland Bay, the picturesque fishing ports of Looe (see below) and Polperro, The Woolly Monkey Sanctuary, the internationally renowned Eden Project and Tate Gallery St Ives. Several stately homes including; Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Mount Edgcumbe, Port Eliot and Antony House can be easily reached from here, as well as beautifully rugged Bodmin Moor and a variety of beautiful, sandy beaches, bays and hidden coves skirting our stunning Cornish coastline. Other local attractions include sailing, fishing and diving, and spectacular coastal walks, especially that via Talland to Polperro, Lantic Bay, Lantivet Bay and Polruan. LOOE our nearest town is a small, very quaint and pretty, coastal town and fishing port. Several fish dealers operate from the docks of East Looe. With its fleet of small fishing boats returning their catches to port daily, Looe has a reputation for producing excellent fresh fish. The town is also a centre for shark fishing, and is the home of the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain. The town centres around a small harbour and along the steep-sided valley of the River Looe which flows between East and West Looe to the sea beside a sandy beach. Off shore to the west, opposite the stonier Hannafore Beach, lies the idyllic St George's Island, otherwise known as Looe Island. Looe's main business today is tourism with a large number of pubs, restaurants, and shops. East Looe centres on its broad sandy beach with the distinctive Banjo Pier. Stretching back from here is a grid of narrow streets forming the ancient centre of the town, packed with many small shops, restaurants and pubs, and the Old Guildhall, now a museum. Along the estuary lies the quay, with several fish dealers. Towards the bridge lies the Victorian Guildhall, and just north of the bridge the railway station. This is the terminus of the Looe Valley branch line to Liskeard, a very popular and picturesque journey, itself an attraction (at Liskeard, the line connects with the main Plymouth to Penzance Great Western Main Line). West Looe spreads west from the bridge on the Polperro Road and along the waterfront south of the bridge are restaurants, pubs and pretty cottages leading towards a cluster of shops and businesses and the Church of St Nicholas. Further south along the coast road is Hannafore Point, marking the edge of Looe Harbour, with to the west the wide, stony Hannafore beach, facing across a narrow channel to Looe Island (officially called St. George's Island). Beyond lies a coastal path leading to the hamlets of Porthallow and Talland, and from there on to Polperro. On New Year's Eve, Looe has a surprisingly large celebration; it is on the list of top 10 places in the UK to celebrate the New Year. The small fishing town, usually quiet in winter, due to the largely seasonal economy, is host to an influx of visitors. People flock the streets in their hundreds, wearing fancy dress, a tradition upheld by all ages. The crowds begin the evening in the town and slowly move towards the seafront for a fireworks display, and the announcement of the New Year. We recommend our guests use a car. Free off-road, private parking space is available at the cottage. We will forward you a pdf file with driving directions and a local map which we STRONGLY recommend you print and use. Satellite Navigation with postcode input is highly unreliable in the country lanes where streets do not have listed names, and a single postcode covers a large area! There is no public transport 'on the doorstep'. There is a bus service from the nearest village Pelynt, which is approx 40 minutes walk. The nearest train stations are Looe (6 miles) and Liskeard (7 miles). Taxis are available at both stations. Liskeard station is on the main London Paddington to Penzance line, with many trains everyday. Looe station is a branch line (very scenic) which connects with the main line at Liskeard. Airports: Newquay 26 miles Exeter 70 miles Bristol 134 miles Cardiff 184 miles Heathrow 217 miles Gatwick 232 miles Luton 239 miles Stansted 262 miles LOCATION Trengrove Cottage is in a secluded location, at least 1½ miles (30-40 minute walk) from Pelynt, the nearest village. There is a local bus service from Pelynt. We recommend that our guests use a car when staying with us. SHOPPING In Pelynt village (1½ miles) you’ll find two very good grocery shops, both with convenient parking in front of the door. Boxall’s Spar Shop and Post Office is in the centre of the village, it sells a wide range of chilled and organic produce, including local cheeses, hams, lots of other delicatessen products, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh herbs, toiletries, newspapers, magazines, wines, spirits, hot snacks and stationery. It also has a cash machine. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 7.30 am until 9pm and Sunday 9am until 6pm. Pelynt Stores & O’Keeffe’s Traditional Family Butchers, is just opposite the church, behind the Old School. It has an excellent family run butchers (great sausages!) and stocks a wide range of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, hot snacks, beers and wines etc. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 5am until 7pm and Sunday 8am until 6pm. Opening times for both stores can vary over Public Holidays. You'll also find various excellent shopping opportunities in Looe (6 miles). For great fresh fish and seafood direct from the quay go to Pengellys Fish Market on Buller Quay (which leads from the short stay car park). Also on Buller Quay is the farm shop Quayside Fresh, selling a great range of local farm fresh vegetables, salad and fruits as well as dairy produce, bread, biscuits, tinned goods, drinks, a wide range of groceries and they also have a Warrens Butchers selling quality local meats, sausages etc. Also in Looe you’ll find two Co-Op stores, bakers, Boots Chemist, Post Office and banks. Supermarkets: There is a Morrisons supermarket in Liskeard (7½ miles) , ASDA and Sainsbury’s in Bodmin (14 miles) and an excellent Waitrose in Saltash (18 miles). For a wide range of quality international wines we recommend Waitrose and Morrisons. DOGS Well behaved dogs are welcome STRICTLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY!! There is a surcharge of £20 per dog, per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Please ask us when booking if you would like to bring a canine friend. Dogs are not allowed upstairs (stairgates are provided), in the bedrooms, bathrooms or on any of the furniture. Please bring bedding, bowls and towels etc for your dog. We ask that you NEVER, under any circumstances, leave dogs alone in the cottage or garden whilst you are out or allow them to be noisy or annoy other guests. REMEMBER: This is a farming area and there is livestock in the neighbouring fields; DO NOT allow your dog out on its own, and do not allow it to harass the animals. CLEAR UP thoroughly after your dogs, including poop-scooping the garden and disposing of waste appropriately; securely tied in a plastic bag. MULTI-FUEL STOVE (COAL & LOGS) If you would like we can organise logs, coal, kindling and firelighters for your arrival. The cost is £20, which includes 1 bag of house coal, 1 bag of logs, 1 bag of kindling and firelighters. If you need further supplies you can buy them from both local shops in Pelynt village and most local petrol stations, prices are generally higher at the petrol stations. Be sure the logs and coal you buy are suitable for a multi-fuel stove! Please let us know when booking if you would like us to organise your stove. If using the multi-fuel stove please BE SURE to read the section ‘Multi-Fuel Stove...’ in the Welcome Manual in your cottage. The stove should only be stocked with seasoned logs and certain coals: please check! No other materials should be burnt in the stove! THE KITCHEN We love cooking! Time together on holiday in the kitchen with friends, music and a bottle of wine, cooking with the family, or preparing a romantic dinner for two is great fun, and we try to support that with a well equipped and stocked kitchen and a selection of recipe books. We keep a small larder of cooking basics, such as herbs, spices, salt, peppercorns, olive oil, vinegar, stock cubes, flour, sugar etc, as well as supplies such as tea, coffee, freezer bags, foil, greaseproof paper, cling film and cleaning items. All the things you need on a self-catering holiday but don't necessarily want to bring with you or buy and carry home.  We do not charge for this, and cannot guarantee these items will definitely be available, everything is simply what we and our guests buy and leave for others to enjoy, please feel free to use the store and add to it. If we all in someway replenish what we use, donate a replacement, or simply add something else to the larder, we can all enjoy the benefit now and next time! Ian was extremely helpful, providing detailed instructions for getting to the cottage. When we arrived there were biscuits and tea, which was lovely! The cottage is in a beautiful part of Cornwall, secluded and quiet and surrounded by hills and forest. The cottage was well-equipped and cosy and full of nice touches like a well-stocked pantry, Bose sound system, DVDs and books. My bed was so comfortable I don't think I've slept that well in years! Thank you to Ian for having us.

We stayed 6 nights at Trengrove & absolutely loved every second of our stay. Ian was the perfect host, with prompt communication, at times anticipating questions before we even thought it. Ian provided very clear directions for finding the lovely hamlet nestling this wonderfully appointed cottage. Attention has been paid to every detail in the presentation of Trengrove and the cottage is very well maintained. The recently upgraded central heating was great and the slow combustion fire added a wonderful ambience. The location acted as a fantastic central base to explore across Cornwall from Penzance to Polperro, Tintagel, Bodmin Moor, Padstow and so much more. If you're seeking a quintessential Cornwall cottage for a family or group stay with all the modern comforts we highly recommend staying at Trengrove. We definately will be back!

Lynda did a great job in sending through details ahead of our stay on the accommodation and what to do in the surrounding area. The house is in a great location, quiet and the perfect retreat for quiet break. Included with the accommodation is access to a very good health club, which is great for rainy days, and there a lot of good beaches and attractions within a 30 minute drive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break.

We love the house!! Big and cozy for 4 of us. We have bbq session and we enjoyed the scenery of wild rabbits and green trees! An escape for us from the hustle and bustle from the city. Although the shops are quite far (10 mins drive at least), we just stock up the thing that we need and we are good!!

We have felt very comfortable in the house and we liked the location very good. Unfortunately, it has always smelled slightly of oil. This was probably due to the heating in the kitchen. It would be nice if WiFi would be available. Lynda has responded very quickly and easily and was a great host. Thank you Lynda.

Our 2nd visit to Lynda & Vince's beautiful holiday lodge. Just as lovely as we remembered, with the added bonus of a great new kitchen. The lodge was very clean and had all we needed for the week. So peaceful, quiet and restful. A wonderful location to wake up, sit on the sunny balcony eating breakfast and listen to the birds singing. The children really enjoyed the pool at China Fleet where we spent most evenings as they open til 10pm, a real bonus! Looking forward to our next visit.

Can not comment on the St Mellion golf and leisure as in just a 3 night stay we did not use these facilities at all - but I must say the pool did look good. Do remember to take your bathers and towels tho. Would be very happy to visit again

Beautiful home in lovely location. I only wish we could have stayed more than 3 nights. Good base for exploring southeastern Cornwall by car. The view of the stars from the balcony at night is extraordinary -- not since I was last in the desert have I seen so many. Looking forward to going back for a longer stay.

Check out all my reviews! This large, top floor flat is wedged at the most central location possible in Plymouth city center. Plymouth university in the front, Drakes Circus in the left of it & Art college at the back. You are near everything, the train & the bus stop & etc, parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but I can help you park 15 min walk away for free. The extra bed in the common area can & will be an airbed. Welcome to Plymouth/Devon. The size & location of this relatively large size property is outstanding! You are near everything! The only problem is you have about 60 steps to climb up this top floor flat. Also this flat is on top of 3 commercial properties! I will work to make this accommodation more homely as time goes by. If you look at my other reviews you will see I strive to keep my guests happy. I hope you become my friends at the end of your stay in Plymouth! You can walk to everywhere you need. there is no free parking right near here, but I can help you to park at a free location if you are coming to Plymouth by car.了解更多

Our stay and experience in the flat was all in all excellent and we left with the best impressions for Mo and his mother Nasrin. Mo made the booking very easy and has been very helpful from the begining. Unfortunately was not in Plymouth during our stay but contacted me giving directions to the house. When we arrived Nasrin welcomed us very warmly, giving us the key and showing us around the flat. In regards to the flat itself, not only is it right in the centre of north hill which makes it perfect for people who want to explore the city, but its also very quiet and has got nice views. Would definitely go back again!

Mo was extremely welcoming, he provided one of the best hospitality I've received from an Airbnb host. He is very quick with answering any questions about my stay. On the day of arrival, our train to Plymouth delayed, causing us to arrive close to midnight, Mo was understanding and had no issue with this, welcoming us with a friendly attitude. He is also very helpful, an example would be when we had three heavy luggages to bring with us during our stay, he kindly offered to drive us from the train station to the apartment. The apartment was cosy and had almost everything I needed. It also fulfil its promises of being very close to the city centre, making it so convenient for us during the stay. I definitely recommend this apartment! If I were to visit Plymouth in the future, I would consider staying at Mo's again.

Lovely, Peaceful, rural location. Threshers Barn is located in the tiny hamlet of East Leigh, nr Harberton, about 3 miles from Totnes & Dartington, Dartmoor is about 10 miles one way, the coast 10 miles the other. Harberton and its ancient pub are about 1.5 miles down the road. The local scenery is spectacular, great for walking and cycling although it is very hilly. This is a double room with ensuite shower and loo and lovely views over the hills. There's room for a put-up bed, although it's a bit of a squeeze, however there's a single room next door which I'm happy to include in the booking for the price of an additional guest if it's available. Small family groups have found this arrangement works well. I provide bed and continental breakfast, which includes juice, fruit, home-made bread and a range of cereals. There's free broadband, but even better hardly any light pollution so it's great for stargazing! The farmhouse kitchen/dining room is a communal area. Breakfast is provided here. For guests staying more than a couple of nights basic food preparation facilities are available by previous arrangement. I'm here most of the time and happy to chat and advise how to get the best out of the locality if that is what visitors are interested in. If you're interested in a pilates session during your stay it's a good idea to arrange this before your visit. Stunning views over the South Hams Countryside. Ideal to access the coast and Dartmoor. Totnes, just 10 minutes away is a charming little town. We are in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, accessible along deep and narrow Devon lanes, that not everyone may be comfortable driving down. We're also not very close to public transport. It is about 5 minutes drive (30 minutes walk) to the nearest village Harberton, which has a lovely pub and 10-15 minutes drive to the nearest town and public transport links in Totnes - about 4 miles away.了解更多

Welcome to my home which is over 100 years old. The area is very residential and you are within walking distance of Plymouth University and the city. 150 meters from a shopping area where there are pubs, restaurants, takeaways and major supermarkets. I have a large double bedroom to rent out, in an old Victorian house 15/20 minutes walk from Plymouth City centre and the Historic Barbican. The house includes a living room, dining room, modern kitchen, four double bedrooms a bathroom downstairs with a shower and toilet, and a shower room upstairs with a seperate toilet. The house is spacious but only has parking for 1 guest car, but there is car space available within a 1 minute walk from the house. Public transport is only a 5 minute walk away, and the railway station is about a 10 minute walk away. Plymouth University is only about a 5 minutes from the house, and the Hoe and the waterfront are about 25 minutes walk from the house. The £40 quoted is for a large bedroom with a double bed, TV and your own sink unit. You can also use the living room to watch TV with me, that is if you want to.(see pictures). There is no cooked breakfast, but tea, coffee, toast and cereals are available if required. It is not intended that the guests use the kitchen to cook meals on a nightly basis. There is lots to see in Plymouth, including the famous Hoe, and the old Barbican. The city has approx. 260,000 people and is within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park, and the Eden Project in Cornwall. There is also a large choice of good restaurants and bars. If you require more than one room I do have another double bedroom which can be booked. Look for "Plymouth City and Historic Barbican 2", and if you can't find it just email me as I may have removed it for a short period of time. I hope you will like your stay here in Plymouth. Ian. Guests have access to both bathrooms, the living room, the kitchen for breakfast, the toilets and of course their bedroom. They can also use the back yard area, especially if it is a nice day to sit outside. As I live in the house I am available at any time to give any help that you need, especially on information about places to visit in Devon & Cornwall. The neighbourhood is very residential. You are about a 5/10 min walk from the main railway station and it is about (150 meters) to Mutlay Plain where you can catch a bus to the city centre or to some other parts of the city.了解更多

Our stay with Ian on the Easter weekend was short but sweet. The room was beautiful, light, spacious with a wash basin in the room and lovingly kept, as is the rest of the house. Ian was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, although we were not around a lot. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Plymouth and can recommend Ian and his lovely house to everyone!

This is a cosy bed with a memory foam mattress, with a private shower room. Also the living space can contain a spare bed and a sofa bed. There is a partition door, which allows for partial privacy. It is possible to accommodate 4 in the space (this is a compact layout but great for value family stays). A travel cot can also be added. Hot and cold drinks included. You are welcome to join us in the communal space. Cooking facilities can be arranged on request. This is a great space for couples or families. The double bed is tucked around the corner and has a sort of door from the main area. The shower room is also private and then the living space can be a single bed and a sofa or two singles or another double bed (its a comfy sofa bed!) You can also access the lounge area and help yourself to hot/cold drinks as well as use our downstairs loo! We live in the main property and you can interact as much or as little as you like. Royal William Yard is a fabulous place to visit with lots of great bars and restaurants. We recommend taking the water taxi around to the Barbican and finishing up at the Fisherman's Arms. We are close to buses 32 (Millbrook - Plymouth) and 34 (Derriford- Royal William Yard - Plymouth). We are 25mins walk from the railway station or 5mins on the 32 bus. We walk to a lot of places and it is easy to walk into the centre. We have lots of people to stay and it is unlikely that you will be the only guests. Our guests often socialise together. If you stay for a longer time, the beds are changed weekly. This is not a hotel but we do our best to make our home accommodating. We are a busy family but we still get the house cleaned twice a week! We have some great trips to share with you and even discounts with a local pub!了解更多

Nikki and her husband greeted us with smiles and were very relaxed which made us feel relaxed. They very kindly let us arrive quite late and then made us a cuppa! The room we stayed in was clean and well equipped. We all slept very well in lovely comfy beds and all had showers in the morning with plenty of hot water. I asked to use their iron and Nikki immediately got it for me. She showed us where the tea, coffee etc was and left a help sheet in the room explaining the breakfast, how to use the shower etc and also local eatery info. We would love to stay again in future!!

We went as a family to stay at Saint Mellion. The drive there from our house was long and tiring, so we were pleased to see everything we need for our week's stay in the lodge already stocked and ready for us to use. Lovely house consisting of 3 ensuite bedrooms and a first floor consisting of a combined kitchen/dining/living area with TV, sofas, stereo and everything you need for some cozy nights. The small balcony was also perfect to enjoy the sun. Perfect for a big family get-away! It's was very easy to pick up and return the keys - you pick them up at a golf club/hotel, so there's always somebody there to help you. It's only located a 5 minute drive away from the house. Everything was clean and working. Towels, bedding sheets, etc., and even coffee and tea was provided. Furthermore it had a fridge and a freezer and all the utilities you'll need to cook your own food. Will definitely recommend this place to everybody who wishes to stay in Cornwall!

Latitude 52 is a landmark building situated about 1 mile from the City Centre, and right opposite Devonport Dockyard. There is plenty of free on street parking, and it is adjacent to numerous bus routes, Devonport Stn, the A38 and the Torpoint ferry. Latitude 52 was previously a sailors rest, where seamen would pay a few shillings to have the luxury of a bedroom and a hot shower instead of sleeping on board. Now it is home to 100 contemporary apartments based around a communal central atrium. A 2nd floor West facing contemporary apartment with views over the dockyard and the river Tamar beyond. There's a comfy double bed with memory foam mattress, a well appointed open plan kitchen / living room The entire place is yours to enjoy I live in the same building so am normally around to lend you a cup of sugar, or provide you with any extra information required about the area. Failing that, my phone is never off! Latitude 52, is based in Devonport, Plymouth Right on several bus routes into pretty much everywhere. Opposite the torpoint ferry to Cornwall. Free parking adjacent to the building. Latitude 52 is a residential building, so please can we request that you don't make too much noise to keep the neighbours happy :-)了解更多

Helpful hostess, very nicely decorated, clean, light place with basically everything you could need, quiet neighborhood, short drive from A38.

A beautiful guest house on the edge of Dartmoor offering full board accommodation and guided walks into Dartmoor National Park, Devon, UK.  The accommodation is a series of converted barns, restored to ensure your stay is both beautiful and tranquil. The site and the buildings were part of a working farm over 300 years ago. Based in heartland rural West Devon there is a strong farming community here, that gives it a unique character. The lush green valleys look out on to the dramatic Dartmoor National Park; a walker's paradise! Benefits of our remote location include our own source of fresh spring water, filtered by the woodland behind us and pumped straight up through the farm yard. We also burn sustainable fuel in the form of wood pellets for our heating. The rooms are a collection of old stables and a milking parlour that have been transformed into ensuite double and twin bedrooms. To ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay, each room is also equipped with Freeview television and DVD player, as well as WiFi (beware that the WiFi has adopted the region's pace of life!). As well as a spacious private bedroom, guests will enjoy access to all the outdoor space, which includes a big field and garden to relax in, a sun terrace and the old stone courtyard. Having grown up in West Devon and knowing the area well, there is a treasure trove of adventures to be had! I can help you with ideas as much as you would like. I also offer guided walks into the wild Dartmoor National Park where I can introduce you to the history and the culture of this unique landscape. Our neighbourhood is very quiet! We live down a private lane, tucked in front of a wood. It's beautiful! And at night the skies are dark and the stars are bright. The perfect antidote to your city neighbourhood! A car is the best way to get around. However we do offer a transfer service from the Exeter St Davids and Exeter Airport. See the website for more details. We are a family and whilst you stay with us we will do our best to make you feel welcome and at home. This is a very relaxing and calm base from which to explore Devon and Cornwall and we look forward to meeting you!了解更多

The best located cottage in Kingsand (probably) for sea views and beaches, Storm Cottage is right on the sea wall with three private balconies with stunning sea views. Newly refurbished, the house is simply styled with a New England feel and touches of Cath Kidston and Mini Moderns. The living room is bathed in light and there are three pubs within 200 yds and two sandy/pebble safe beaches with clear rockpools. Kingsand is situated in Cornwall's forgotten corner - a ferry hop away from Plymouth. The house is an upside down house with the living space upstairs affording beautiful views of the historic Cawsand bay. The main bedroom has stunning sea views with an en-suite basement bathroom with rolltop bath and portholes out to the sea! The decor is calm and creamy Farrow and Ball with a New England feel, with small luxuries like Smeg and Dualit kitchen equipment and home furnishings from Cath Kidston and Mini Moderns, as well as Cornish brands like Seakisses and artist Helen Round. Our cabin style small bedroom with two singles works well for (good) kids too. They'll love being right next to two beaches, with a football sized yard outside. We have a sunny courtyard balcony to dine out on with sea views. For tech junkies we are fully broadbanded up with superfast wifi and a smart TV with DVD. All of the house, if required - with parking for three cars. We can help provide an arrival box of food (please discuss in advance) and help with where to eat etc. Or we can leave you totally alone! Kingsand is a very special place. Located in Cornwall's forgotten corner, it's a twin village is Cawsand. Its three beaches are safe and perfect for kids - and the bay, which looks out to Plymouth Sounds, is a favourite with yachties and swimmers. There are three great pubs, serving good food, a post office and 4 village shops. The village is full of higgledy-piggedly lanes with sea-salt washed pastel coloured Georgian cottages. Foot and car ferries travel regularly to Plymouth, and the majestic Royal William Yard. Dartmoor, Devon and the Eden Project are all with easy reach. By train, disembark at Plymouth or St Germans - and get a taxi to Kingsand. By car, take the Torpoint Ferry from Plymouth, or follow the A38 and turn off at the Trerulefoot roundabout just beyond Saltash. There are up to three parking spaces outside the cottage - and a public carpark 100 meters away. Please note 2 trips cancelled previously on AirBnB due to refurb work taking longer than anticipated. That work is now complete. No dogs due to owners allergies. Sorry! Access to the cottage parking is narrow. Nervous drivers or owners of lovely new cars may want to initially park in the public carpark - and size up the space first.了解更多

The last house in the hamlet with only fields beyond and very quiet. Tastefully furnished with private outdoor seating area, BBQ & access to newly renovated outdoor swimming pool (photo coming soon) We are also walking distance from the Steiner School, Shumacher College, Dartington Hall, village shop & The Cott Inn. Totnes is less than 2 miles away along a river path. Fantastic walks (or runs) from the door. This apartment is part of the last house in the village with only fields beyond and is very quiet. The loudest sound is usually the whistle from the local steam railway over a mile away. However BT Infinity fast broadband has just arrived & there's pretty good mobile reception (for Devon) so you won't be completely cut off! The apartment is completely self-contained with its own entrance and has a good-sized bright bedroom/studio with a table and chairs, a small kitchen area (with sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee making and a gas cooker with hob and oven), a bathroom (with bath and thermostatically controlled shower) and an entrance hall area with space to hang coats. The room is tastefully furnished with a stone Minster working fireplace, an Art deco desk, Ercol quaker chairs and original oil paintings and etchings. There is also a large 30in LCD TV with DVD player (photo not updated yet) and a Sony clock/radio/ipod player. During the winter firewood is supplied for the open fire. There is also a very sunny, private outside seating area with a table, two chairs and a small BBQ overlooking the front garden. There's plenty of wild life! We regularly see deer and rare Green Woodpeckers as well as all the more common birds. You can park your car right outside the apartment. The 5ft ziplink double bed splits into two singles if required ( photo not yet updated) We can provide a camp-bed for a 3rd person (or child) for a small additional cost. However due to the limited space we don't recommend this for stays of longer than 3 nights maximum. The kitchen is small so if you want to cook 3 course dinners every night it's probably not for you. Full access to the whole apartment. I'm available on phone and email prior to your arrival. And as I live next door I'm there to help if you have any questions or need anything. Where else can you reach the sea in around half an hour or be up on the wilds of Dartmoor in even less time. But there are also fantastic walks from the door. One of the best wild swimming spots in the UK (in the Guardian's top 10) is less than a mile from the house. The medieval market town of Totnes is also less than 10 minutes drive with its many wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Totnes Station on the main line to London is less than 10 minutes drive and there are regular buses from the end of our road to the station or in the other direction towards Buckfastleigh and Ashburton. The apartment is also less than 10 minutes drive from the A38, the dual carriageway that links to the M5. The house was built in 1962 and was designed by modernist Arthur Grayson for the novelist and composer Bruce Montgomery. Montgomery was quite well known at the time and wrote the music for the first 6 Carry on movies. He was also a friend of Agatha Christie who apparently came to dinner at the house.了解更多

We had a lovely stay at Higher Week. The first night we were there we booked a table at the local Cott Inn. It's a lively local pub with great food, I'd recommend you book. We explored all of the local area the next day, and came back to retire in the annexe. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped so we spent a night in with food and the open log fire. I would recommend Ben's place if you want to explore the Totnes and Dartmouth area.

Ben was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs (my Mum is lactose intolerant and he very kindly bought her soy milk for the duration of our stay). He gave us some good tips for places to eat out and also where to visit during our stay. The place itself was beautifully set out and had a very homly feel to it. Would definitely recommend!
